Alegria Samba School is the premiere samba school in San Diego, California. Alegria Samba School was founded in the fall of 2004 with the goal of promoting Brazilian culture through costume, music and dance throughout Southern California and beyond. Alegria samba dancers share the joy or “alegria” and pride or “orgulho” of Brazil in each show and presentation.
